What exactly is "assisted living", and how does it differ
from a nursing home or everyday retirement home?
Along the continuum
of care, assisted living fits in between a nursing home and a
retirement home. Assisted living is appropriate for people who
do not require the health care of a skilled nursing facility,
and are able to live independently with some help with daily activities.
Assisted living supports a resident's right to remain as independent
as possible in a home-like setting. This setting is a self-contained
apartment with private bath that is part of a larger community
setting, including dining and activity areas. Assisted living
at Brighton Court means you have choices about the services you
need, the meals you eat, and the activities you participate in.
It means our staff treats you with the respect and dignity you
deserve as a unique individual.

5.
What are the costs for assisted living?
Just as our services
are not "one size fits all", Brighton Court's prices are not one
size fits all. Fees vary depending on your unique, individual
needs and the degree of staff time it will take to meet your needs.
An individualized service plan will be proposed based upon a thorough
assessment by Brighton Court staff and interview with the prospective
resident. As your assisted living needs increase or decrease,
your fees will be adjusted accordingly. For more information or
a personal tour, please call us at 509-926-4533 or E-mail us at
